Captadin 80 WDG este un fungicid organic din grupa chimica a ftalimidelor; se prezinta sub forma de granule fine, omogene, fara tendinta de sfarmare, de culoare bej, cu un slab miros caracteristic (aromatic); contine 80% captan ca substanta activa. Produsul nu este exploziv si nici coroziv. Este stabil in conditii normale de depozitare si manipulare.
Mod de actiune: Captadin 80 WDG este un fungicid cu actiune multisite specifica mai ales impotriva ciupercilor care provoaca rapanul la pomi fructiferi, dar si alte boli (antracnoze, patari, boli de sol) la alte culturi. Substanta activa captan are actiune preventiva de contact, fiind cunoscuta ca substanta cu cel mai bun efect de prevenire si combatere a infectiilor primare si secundare cu rapan la pomii fructiferi. Desi nu este translocat in interiorul tesuturilor, produsul adera foarte bine pe organele tratate si este greu spalat de ploaie, realizand o perioada de protectie de 5-7 zile , in functie de conditiile locale.
