Tava 24 celule/tavita este recomandata pentru rasaduri de pepeni datorita volumului mare al celulei (optim pentru dezvoltarea radiculara a pepenilor), rasaduri de castraveti (rasadurile de castraveti pot fi tinute timp de 20 - 30 zile), rasaduri de tomate (acestea pot fi tinute 15 - 20 zile de la repicare), rasaduri de ardei (acestea pot fi tinute 20 - 30 zile de la repicare). In general, tava de 28 de celule se utilizeaza atunci cand este nevoie de o perioada lunga de dezvoltare a rasadurilor (tomatele pentru primul ciclu de primavara-vara sau ciclu lung, ardeii pentru ciclu lung) sau pentru rasaduri care necesita volum mai mare pentru dezvoltarea radiculara: pepeni verzi, pepeni galbeni, dovlecei, castraveti.
